Bedrooms
It is the defining aspect of this house that it can sleep as
many as 25 in luxury without feeling crowded or as few as eight
without feeling empty.
The interior of the house offers maximum flexibility without
altering the atmosphere.
We have 10 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom facilities.
There are a further 3 single rooms of unique character.
Among the most distinctive of the bedrooms are:
- The
Cecily Blair Room: Now fully restored with its magnificent
French 18th Century four poster bed.
- The
Lady Margaret Room: carefully redecorated and offering superb
views on 3 sides over the Park, Gardens, and the Bombo.
- The
Empire Room: contains the original furniture an officer
in the Napoleonic wars.
- The
Yellow Room: still graced with ornate inlaid Dutch furniture
originally designed for the house.
- The
Blue Tower Room: this delightful single bedroom we usually
allocate to ladies as it's the perfect girl's bedroom.
We have established an elegant beauty and massage room in the
top of the West Wing which can also be made available as a double
bedroom.
For larger parties, additional accommodation in the Stable Flat
and Carriage House can be incorporated into your house booking,
bringing the total number we can accommodate at Blair to 38.
