From Glasgow:
Take M8 to Glasgow Airport, and then follow signs for A737 to Irvine.
Stay on A737, 2 miles past Beith until you reach a small cluster of houses before reaching Dalry.
This is the hamlet of Highfield for which there is no sign. Turn left at
this crossroads, following the sign for the cycle path to Irvine. After a mile there is a junction
with the road on your right, where you see the Estate wall.

If you are travelling by car, take this right turn and turn left after
200 yards into the Policies through the North entrance. Follow the avenue until you reach Blair House.
If arriving by coach or by heavy vehicle, drive straight over this junction,
following the estate wall, past two white cottages on your right, following the bend in the road and
then enter via the South Entrance.

From Ayr:
Follow A78 towards Greenock until you reach the junction with signs for
Kilwinning and Beith. Follow the signs to Kilwinning and then onto Dalry. In Dalry town centre
turn right at the traffic lights and take first right towards the Bridgend
Industrial Estate and the railway station. Follow the road through to open country. 500 yards after
the delimit sign, turn right into the Policies at the North Entrance and
follow the avenue until you reach Blair House. Alternatively, if arriving by coach or heavy vehicle,
drive past the North Entrance, turning right at the end of this road and
following the Estate wall to the South Entrance as above.
